We believe that the best way to practice shooting is in a competitive environment. We are offering this monthly Precision Pistol (Bullseye) match as a fun, less intense way to practice while in competition. Targets can be shot during practice over multiple sessions and you can even coach them while shoot. As long it follows the same rules, scores can also be used from another match!
Love the Olympics? So do we! We're recreating the spirit of the Olympic sport in an online monthly match. If you would like to see a match with a different number of shots, just let us know!
About 10M Air Pistol: The 10 meter air pistol is an Olympic shooting event governed by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF). It is similar to 10 metre air rifle in that it is shot with 4.5 mm (or .177) caliber air guns at a distance of 10 metres (11 yards), and the programme consists of 60 shots within 75 minutes for men, and 40 shots within 50 minutes for women. It is also similar to 50 metre pistol despite the shorter distance and the use of air guns, and most top-level male shooters compete in both events. For more information see: NRA Air Gun & Wikipedia | | Rules:

About Free Pistol: The 50 meter pistol, formerly and unofficially still often called free pistol, is one of the ISSF shooting events. It provides the purest precision shooting among the pistol events, and is one of the oldest shooting types, dating back to the 19th century and only having seen marginal rule changes since the 1936.
The target of this event hasnt changed since 1900, the distance since 1912 and competitors have been using the single shot 22 rim-fire pistol since 1908. The sport traced back to the beginning of indoor flobert Pistol parlor shooting in Europe during the 1870s, which in turn traced back to 18th century pistol dueling.
